It's sad when a friendship goes kaput, but sometimes it's just gotta happen. That's one of the life lessons I learned in college (along with unlimited beer and wings doesn't mean you have to and if you have to sneak around to have the relationship, it's not much of a relationship), that in the end it's just better to let the person go instead of beating the thing into the ground. Of course, it does leave me wanting to say a few choice words to the person, but restraint is good, just let it be, and be sad, but only as long as it takes to call up your real friends and remind yourself what friendship should be. Or something.
