A new opinion poll in the US suggests 56% of Americans believe the cost of the Iraq conflict outweighs its benefits.

It was the first time since the war began that a clear majority of Americans judged the war to have been a mistake, the Washington Post newspaper reported.

Now why couldn't they have figured that out two months ago?!

He's a war president with war on his mind!

Don't worry, though. After the "election" he's got a get out of Iraq free card, regardless if a civil war ensues. The corporate media will treat it like case-closed and the public will heave a sigh of relief that they aren't forced to contemplate the suffering of others any more...
