taerowynWent to the CSU Madrigal dinner on Friday night. I haven't been to that since I was around ten I think. Still the same bad acting/puns. The singing was good, if not a tad too long. The highlight was the pipe and drum band because, well, it was a pipe and drum band.
The drummers did the most mind-boggling routine I have ever seen. Sticks in the air, playing each others drums, tossing the sticks back and forth. Just awe inspiring. I had to wonder how many black eyes occurred during practices. Once upon a time I thought of looking into joining them but a) I can't play traditional, I just can't handle the palm up style of playing and b) I can play, but dear god I'm not that coordinated. I'd kill someone, stick through the eye or something. And it would probably be me.
