I was driving along and saw a beautiful brick fence around a new subdivision. Then I got to the part where it's still being built. It's a concrete fence with this brick shell/overlay. Probably says something profound about society but I'm not awake enough to go into it.

Several houses and at least one business in town already have Christmas lights up. One house in our neighborhood had them up the weekend after Halloween. Happy Hallothanksmas to you all!

If I had never read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Two Towers previews would piss me off.

When you try to open your office door with your house key your subconscious is definitely trying to tell you something.

Old Town Square has Christmas lights up too. i noticed it this past weekend. maybe they're trying to get everyone in the holiday (read: shopping) spirit to give the house of cards economy some boost. just a guess. pretty sickening though.
