BIG pet peeve

I gotta say, I hate, HATE it when somebody says, in one way or another, "You are making the wrong decision in your life."

I have one friend that EVERY time he is drunk around me he goes off on a spiel of how I'm wrong to do ____ and I should be doing ____ and what am I thinking etc. etc. etc. Who the hell does he think he is to try to tell me how to live my life?!?!?

Finally, tonight he actually wanted to hear my side of things and now it's become kind of a joke between us. Big step. But still, there's a line... and he comes perilously close to crossing it quite often.

Kinda like a certain someone telling you you're not going to the right places, you're not doing the right things, you like the wrong guys, you're not outgoing enough, you..... eh hm sorry random flash back. Got the yearbook (finally) yesterday and some bad feelings were brought back up. (by the way - i can't believe we waited in antisipation a year and a half for THAT)

people who think that everyone is gung-ho about wanting to know about every single quirk about theirself really ought to look in the mirror and honestly ask themselves if this is a healthy thought to have.
