I have not watched and do not plan to watch any TV this week. Just not the images I want to be faced with over and over again, but I do understand the desire/need in other people to see some of the retrospectives etc. However, ESPN's "The Bravest Team" about the FDNY football club?! There should be a limit to how low you can sink.

I think I'm going to spend my 9/11 going to the Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Animation Festival at CSU. I'm assuming there will be very little to do with being strong as a nation and selling products to honor our dead and all that.

BTW, Quiznos is offering a free small sandwich, bag o' chips, and soda to any firefighters or police officers on Wednesday... just their small way of saying "Thanks" and honoring the dead, not some tacky way to cash in of course. I'm really thinking of going to a thrift store and trying to find some kind of police or firefighter outfit and going around town to demand my free shit.

I don't know. There's going to be a lot of stuff going on at CSU according to the paper. I'm all for coming home from work and either going to a park or if the weather's nasty staying home with a book.
