Jul. 29th, 2002 10:23 amShould I be getting worried? In the year (in two weeks, anyway) that I've been working here, I've never had a customer say anything remotely religious to me. I've had three phone calls today, one ended with "Goodbye, be blessed," and one with, "you've been so helpful, you're going to heaven," (the last ended normal..."Thanks, bye"). Is someone trying to tell me something here?

Date: 2002-07-30 05:41 am (UTC)yeah. and i think the flight attendant who hugged you and said "God bless" right before you got on that plane is included in the multitude (at least 3) of people who think you're such a nice person that they want to clue you in on the whole religious thing. because, according to them (i think), if you're not clued in to religion (especially Christianity), you will go straight to hell when you pass on. and since we all pass on, everyone should be 'clued in', especially if you're such a nice person as you are. i think they feel that if a nice person went to hell without being 'clued in', and they once had the opportunity to 'clue them in', they would feel guilty. ugh! i hate talking about my mum. makes my blood boil. don't mind me. i got issues, but you already knew that.
