Well, it's definitely the summer in Colorado...afternoon and evening thunderstorms occurring daily. Last night was a real treat as lightening hit right in front of our house. The thunder actually started BEFORE the flash of light. There was a loud rumble a brilliant flash of light, brighter than daylight, and then a crash so loud that the entire house shook. Scared the hell out of me. The cat hid in my bedroom for the next hour staring at the door as if he was thinking "Is it coming to get me?" Amazingly enough, there was no damage done. Just a really cool special effects show. My dad actually saw, not just the flash of lightening, but the bolt itself. He just happened to be looking at the right spot at the right time. It was very cool.

Sorry I haven't been writing too often. It's the same with my handwritten journal. There's something about being home that just shuts down the journaling center of my brain. Don't know why, but there it is.
