Jun. 7th, 2002 02:38 pmSpeaking of my lunchbreak, I usually try to go on a walk. There's a nice bike path near work that goes along Big Thompson River, back behind HP. Now, it's not in the middle of downtown Loveland or anything, but it's still a fairly developed area a couple of miles from the foothills, so it's a little disconcerting to see, about 1 1/4 miles into my walk, a sign warning of mountain lion sightings in the area and what to do if you encounter one. Excuse me? You want me to "Speak loudly and firmly in a low voice" to a mountain lion whose obviously not afraid to venture into the city? Uh-huh, sure, anything you say.

Oh yeah and one of the deer had only three legs. The possibillities of it lost it was a concern.
