Um...Hello?

Just read an interview where David Boreanz is bitching about the new show Castle ripping off his show Bones. I guess cause it's a crime/mystery procedural with co-stars with romantic chemistry?

Um...no.

Not only did they also mention Moonlighting in the interview (hey look, a crime/mystery procedural with co-stars with romantic chemistry), but can I also point to this, and this*, and this, and...yeah, you get the idea.

Which is a roundabout way to get to my other point that I watched Castle on Monday...formulaic (see above) but I think Fillion will make it worth watching, though find the female lead fairly meh. To me, the dynamic between him and his daughter was one of the best parts, so here's hoping they keep that strong.

* Random aside, but can this please come out on DVD at some point? Yes, I'm a dork, but if you haven't realized that yet, you haven't been paying attention.

ETA I don't think I've ever said this before, nor will ever say it again, but I love AOL.

Oh! Remington Steele.......

Fillion has a new show? Do they let him be funny? I love him when he's funny.

Oh yeah, he brings the funny. A little over-the-top in the pilot, but I'm hoping that's cause it was, you know, the pilot.

Also this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lois_%26_Clark:_The_New_Adventures_of_Superman), but I might favor that more because I'm a bigger dork than you.

Oh, and Castle is on my DVR for this weekend. I liked the commercials enough to give it a shot.

Hmmmm....yeah, I guess I didn't go there cause they weren't PIs or government, but that does fit pretty well.

And I'm pretty much I'm that big a dork. One of my favorite TV scenes ever is the one when the guys come from the Utopian future and the bad guy says something like "And the burning question everybody has about the famous Lois Lane is How. Dumb. Was she?!? *puts glasses on* I'm Clark Kent *takes glasses off* I'm Superman *puts glasses on* I'm Clark Kent..."

The only time I watched a full episode of that show. And it was high-larious.
