taerowynI won cathedral quilt lessons in a silent auction last spring (cause what I really needed was another craft to do), so I decided to make a tablerunner for my mom for Christmas:
I had no set length in mind other than "as long as I can get it by the time Christmas arrives." She decided she's actually going to hang it on the wall in her office instead.
The quilt lesson included pre-cut patterned squares so I picked out all the floral prints since my mom likes flowers
It's all hand-stitched, both front and back, didn't use a machine for any of it.
Anyway, I'm quite proud of how it turned out. Don't know if I have time (or the patience) to do a full quilt, but definitely am happy to have this new skill set in my arsenal.
