Dec. 31st, 2008 11:10 amBetween Twitter and Facebook I find I neglect LJ (the posting, not the reading of the Flist).
Been home for a little over a week now and still have a few days left. Find my Boston homebody tendencies are exacerbated here since I bring my knitting AND have digital cable choices...mmmmm Bravo and BBC America, it's a good thing I don't have you in Boston. Though with my mom letting me bring home all 7 seasons of The West Wing, I think the point is sort of moot.
Christmas was good. Got a bunch of clothes and movies that I'd wanted. Been good on the spending front (hard t spend when I'm mostly at home) which works out well as the girls and I have started to pin down plans for our trip to celebrate turning 30. We're renting a beach house in Puerto Rico for a week...I think it'll be amazingly fun. Planning that kind of trip in mid-winter is definitely therapy against the cold.
Last day of 2008 should be good. Bowling with the folks, dinner at a fondue place then off to
schwa242 and
mezdeathhead's for Guitar Hero gaes to ring in the New Year. Should be fun.
Happy New Year to all of you!
