Oh wow...just watched The Crow on TV. Don't think I'd seen it in over a decade. Funny, pathetic, for-TV edits aside...that took me back.

Total high school flashbacks.

On so many levels.

Also hit home the generation gap between me and New Roomie. I mean, she's only six years younger, but she came in and had absolutely no idea what I was watching. Kind of blew me away. I couldn't even begin to explain the significance of that movie. I mean, it's just so intrinsically tied with my high school years.

I totally know what you mean about that movie. I haven't seen it in ages, either. I should find my DVDs-I have the box set with the two crappy sequels.

I loved the comic and thought the movie didn't do it justice. If you watch the last interview with Brandon Lee, he didn't much care for the changes either. I went through and re-edited the film and have my edit sitting on a hard drive. I took out all the "Kill the crow destroy the man" crap and rearranged the order of deaths for the bad guys. T-Bird dies last. I've gotten good reviews on it.
