Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] starrai and [livejournal.com profile] schwa242

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie
3. Post them here for everyone to guess
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie
5. No googling/using IMDb search functions. Totally cheating, you dirty cheaters.

1. Hey, you missed practice again today! I think you better sit down and think about how that made me feel... [livejournal.com profile] schwa242 got it with Buffy the Vampire Slayer...and his prize is to move to Europe, marry Christian Slater, etc.

2. First I want to hear the story of your life. Everything that's ever happened to you since you were so high. And then I want to know what you eat for breakfast, what's your favorite color, what comic strips you read. Then we'll talk about shoes, and ships, and sealing wax, and shows. Farms. Families. Oh it may take hours. Weeks. Years. I want to know everything. [livejournal.com profile] modpixie surprised the heck out of me by correctly getting Summer Stock

3. Look, Sgt. Pepper, I really need you to shut up about that. [livejournal.com profile] modpixie also got Grosse Point Blank

4. Now, the most important thing is, we have to work as a team, which means: you do everything I tell you.

5. It's not that we're afraid, far from it, it's just that we've got this thing about death... It's not us! [livejournal.com profile] phanatic has Spaceballs

6. I'm calling the organization of the United Brotherhood of It's None of Your Damn Business [livejournal.com profile] steelfox correctly voted for The American President

7. You want to classify prime numbers now? [livejournal.com profile] phanatic also made Contact.

8. Sand is overrated. It's just tiny, little rocks. [livejournal.com profile] underwhelm didn't when he got got Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

9. You can't! It's impossible! I'm far too busy, so ask me now before I can become sane. [livejournal.com profile] flummox did an incredible job IDing The Incredibles

10. Perhaps Margaret is right. Piracy is our only option. [livejournal.com profile] ladygwyn had the sense to recognize Sense and Sensibility

11. How many of them really know what they want, though? I mean, a lot of them think they have to know, right? But inside they don't really know, so... I don't know ,but I know that I don't know. Surprised this one lasted so long, but [livejournal.com profile] steelfox finally correctly IDed Say Anything

12. That's... quite a dress you almost have on.

13. Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some grenades, don't you think? [livejournal.com profile] gremlingirl found Serenity

14. There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love shouldn't be one of them.

15. Tea can do many things, Jane, but it can't bring back the dead.

I can do not one, but two. #6 is from American President. I only recognize that because Michael J Fox was marvelous in that and the line he says right before that is so funny: "Who are we calling?" His delivery is hilarious.

Also easy, and I'm shocked that noone has nailed it so far, is #11. That is the definitive speech on choosing the direction you want to go in life, delivered by none other than my high-school hero: Lloyd Dobbler (spelling?).

I know! Can't believe it took this long for someone to get the Say Anything quote.

And I love Aaron Sorkin's writing, but since this was movies and not TV I did American President instead of West Wing. Always such great dialogue!

I'm sad to see that you don't have anything from French Kiss up there (or if you do then vet school has really rotted my brain that I can't see it). I might have to steal this from you once things slow down a bit. :o)

Nope, sorry. No French Kiss. (I'm pretty sure I did last time I did this meme if it makes you feel any better).
