Read through my past entries of late. More than fifty percent of them were complaints. My aren't I the whiny bitch of late. Should try to focus on the positive, but you usually don't need to VENT the positive. Anyway happy thoughts:

  • When I got home last night, mom was asleep so it was like having the house to myself anyway (see last entry).
  • I got a letter from eeyorekdm. YEAH MAIL!!
  • I'm getting sick (this is happy as it may mean legitimate time off from work :-)
  • I'm eating very yummy raspberries that I bought yesterday. MMMMM raspberries.
  • I have numerous good books sitting at home waiting for me.
  • I may be learning to ski this weekend (this remains to be seen whether it's happy or not, ask me on Monday if I'm on crutches).
  • I will be spending time with the girls this weekend... including The Six-Pack - the Next Generation (aka Christa).

So basically I should stop whining and be happy...I shall certainly give it a try.

...including The Six-Pack - the Next Generation (aka Christa).

This sort of implies that a new member (aka Christa) has been added to the Six-Pack. Details! Who didn't make the cut? Or is the Six-Pack one of those "buy one six-pack, get a soda of a different flavor free" deals?

Raspberries sound very tasty.

No, it implies that there is literally a second generation ie one of the six pack has reproduced...now I'll just leave you in torment trying to figure out which one of us is a mom *insert twilight zone theme* although it's fairly clear it's not me.

Woops...

I would imagine it is Renee. She is the only one I can think of who would be ready to start a family in so short a time, though I will admit I could see a few of the others getting knocked up during colllege and deciding to keep the child. No, you are not one of these. You have your stuff together, even if you are a marine biologist in Colorado. :)

You know, after I wrote that I started trying to figure out who you would guess. I figured you wouldn't think me or Lesley. Kristin, Maija and Kim were all fairly unlikely as well which left Leah and Renee. Fifty fifty shot and you blew it. Leah is the mom of the six pack. She's doing well, single mother, working hard etc. Christa really centered her; you wouldn't recognize her personality at all. It's been good for her and they're both doing great.

I must disagree

There is nothing wrong with venting. Sometimes you need to vent. Forcing yourself to stop 'whining' is a bad thing as any negativity is just going to build and build and sooner or later you'll have to vent. Sure, complaining 24/7 is also bad but stopping venting all together is bad too.

OK...stop whining as much. How's that? Or maybe balance the whining with a bit more of "the good stuff."
