Several things bothered me and most of it stems from the fact that to get the important information from a hugely long book into a decent length movie they had to skim the surface of so many, many things and leave huge chunks/characters out:
a) The World Cup
b) Viktor and Hremione
c) Rita Skeeter
d) Harry and Cho
e) missing: Charlie, Bill, Narcissa etc.
f) Snape as a Death Eater
g) lots of things I can't remember now
And can I say that Hermione and Viktor as played by those actors is just ooky. I know age in actors is often up in the air with 30-somethings sometimes playing high school students etc, but she looks her 15 years and he looks his 20 so together they look...well, ooky. At my age, five years ain't much, but at 15...
Don't get me wrong though, there are still some priceless moments in there, some really great laughs and, thankfully, the trio's acting abilities are catching up (although the end of/return to the Tri-Wizard was hugely over-acted by all involved). There were a lot of double entendres (some intentional, some because my friend and I are just twisted enough to take things that way). And, of course, Alan Rickman is still the highlight, though very under used in this one.
Basically, I like the last movie better.
