Disruptions

It's very unsettling to receive phone calls on the lines of "It's Mom, I'm in the emergency room with your Dad." Ok, so it was an allergic reaction to something and he's fine, is reacting well to treatment,will be home in a few hours, etc. But it's still unsettling and makes it exceptionally hard to concentrate on work.

Boy - you're family has a thing with phone message .... today, the message on the machine you got when you "suprised" them by coming home early... "what's this sound?"... Glad to hear all is ok though - tell your dad I hope he feels better.

Don't I know it. The worst was still the message when i came home to suprise them since I couldn't talk to anybody and just had to stew (aka run around and panic).
