I was good and applied for another job today... now what?

I'm going a bit stir crazy and words cannot describe how sick of the snow I am.

Visiting Roommate was watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves earlier. In my room, all I could hear was the music and any lines that were actually shouted. The sad truth is that I could tell where she was in the movie based on the soundtrack alone. As

schwa242 can confirm, I watched that movie incessentally when it first came out on video. My appreciation of the movie has changed though. Used to be focused on massive adoration of Christian Slater and minor appreciation of Alan Rickman. Now it's all about Rickman and Morgan Freeman. Alan Rickman just gives good bad guy.

Was trying to think of Christian Slater movies of yore and had to snicker when I remembered Kuffs. He's had some wonderful flicks (Heathers anyone) but the majority of his roles are so bad they're good.

So now I'm snowbound. I had hoped to have the apartment to myself as Boy Roommate is at work and Girl Roommate is in VT. Visiting Roommate went to visit her Aunt and Uncle last night...I thought for the weekend, but it turned out to just be for the evening.

I'm guessing this weekend will turn into another combination of book reading, web surfing and DVD watching, just as the past few have been. I need to get a life, but first I need to get a job so that I can afford one.
