Being a bad girl and posting via email while at work.

Don't know why, but I'm in an incredibly good mood, though there are many possible culprits:

Long Weekend
Cowboy Mouth Concert tonight yes, eeyorekdm, another one)
Plans to watch the Pops rehearse on Sunday (less crowded than Monday's
performance)
Day by the river and fireworks on Monday
Going home a week from tomorrow

Just...I'm a happy taerowyn. Now I just have to try not to think about the future of the Supreme Court thanks to today's announcement. La la la...I can't hear you!

Tried another new recipe last night. I'm glad I've gotten back into the swing of cooking again (instead of living on all the yummy frozen food I can get at Trader Joe's...I still buy it, just less of
it and it's not the bulk of my diet as it was for awhile there). Anyway, last night's recipe: chicken flutas. Soooooo good. The roommates agreed, one of the better recipes in my growing arsenal,
also one of the less healthy. Think there's a connection? Basically, it's cooked shredded chicken, onion, garlic and feta rolled into corn tortillas and then fried til crispy and served with salsa and sour
cream. They were so good and there's still some leftover chicken mix meaning I can have more this weekend. Yummy in my tummy.
