Rejection letters get old quick on their own, but getting two in one day is a particular evil.

Summers in an office are one of the times I'm particularly happy to be a girl...we're able to get away with much cooler clothing and still have it count as office attire. Yeah for skirts, sleeveless blouses and the all important sandals.

Have a friend staying this week as she job/apartment hunts. She's 80% sure that the interview today will land her a job. So how much am I allowed to hate her if she's right?

Walked through Harvard's Class Day (some pre-Commencement thing) address today. Tim Russert was the speaker. Gave a nice dig to Harvard president for his stupid comments of last winter. I liked the fact that he was willing to address it even on Summers' "home turf."

I don't like it too often, but every once in awhile watermelon is like manna from the gods.

Damn...there were a bunch of other odds and ends, but I can't think of them now. Oh well, maybe later.
