Aug. 10th, 2004 10:10 amAnd I'm back in Boston. Accomplishing very little so no change there. I'll write the saga of the wedding at some point, but I'm not quite ready to tackle it yet. Suffice it to say there were tears, laughter, drama and, of course, a happy ending.
Had two cool airplane experiences. One of my favorite things about flying is watching the shadows of clouds as move over the land. Landing in Denver, my seat was just right and the sun was just right that I was watching the shadow of the plane. Course that wasn't nearly as nifty as last night's sight. Leaving Chicago at sunset, we passed next to this huge thunderstorm. The top of the clouds were all pinks and blues cause of the sunset and then underneath there were flashes and bolts of lightning. Pretty doesn't begin to describe it, but it was.
Speaking of flying, I'm glad I wasn't on this plane (or the owner of the cat for that matter).
