The other side of the gay marriage scenario

Hee hee! My good friend was griping about his "surreal" experience at a gay bar in Boston this week. He hit on a guy and the guy flashed his left hand and said, "Thanks, but I'm married."

"I'm used to rings just being a fashion accessory!" whined my friend.

Aaaaaaaa... it's amazing what a trip to the ocean can do for you. I decided to drive to where I'm going to work so I wouldn't have the stress of both looking for the route and fighting the morning traffic on my first day tomorrow. The area is gorgeous (Scituate for you MA folks). Actually reminds me a lot of where I did my undergrad so I feel right at home. Driving plus beach time has definitely mellowed my mood nicely.
