Year in Review Thingy..
Jan. 7th, 2005 09:04 pmFirst sentence from the first entry of every month in 2004 yadda, yadda, yadda....
Yeah! Well, I tried. So, I was flipping through the channels tonight (I have an article due tomorrow, so what better way to spend my time?) when I stumbled across something and decided I must have read it wrong. You gotta love a prof who, when you write in sick for class, writes back "Here's hoping you feel better soon. Take it easy, rest and drink plenty of tea, honey and a little Jack Daniels to make it slide down easier." I knew I didn't agree with Rumsfeld's politics, but now I think as a person he's an ass too.
If I forgot this, my dad would be very disappointed in me. Reading my friends list was a good new/bad news sort of day. Too many coincidences today. Question: I was sick last weekend. Apparently Kerry wasn't the only one to forget Poland. I've been hiding from LJ. Number of planned troops in Iraq before next month's election - 150,000.
OK, it looses cohesiveness around September, but I love the link between Rumsfeld and my dad and the mood swing between January/February. So there you go... my 2004.

Date: 2005-01-07 07:50 pm (UTC)Hmm my 2004...
I was going through my "friends" page here and realized it's been a really long time since I've updated my journal. OK so last christmas I traded in my leased car and got another one that was very similar to the first - only new. OK so this has been a slightly stressful busy weekend... Mike was down in the city getting chemo all weekend, Mom was admitted to a local hospital on Fri and there through today. I can't wait for spring. Two words... FULL REMISSION! (ok so that was mid month - just had to throw it in b/c it was probably the best entry all year). Had a pretty good weekend this past weekend. Just went and saw Super Size Me . Took a weekend trip down to Wildwood this weekend with Mike. Went to go see Mike's brother's new house this weekend. This was a pretty good weekend. Things are starting to fall into place again. Today has been rough, but I have 15 boxes from NC to go through so that has been keeping me busy and not letting my mind wonder too much.
Ok so mine doesn't flow as well... I tend to open my entries up with a prefice. Anyway there you go.
