I find it amusing because Canada is not the answer either. Canadiens send roughly 40% of their income to the government .. not including sales tax and other taxes. Americans bitch about how much they pay - watch as nearly 50% of their income goes straight to the government to pay for the national healthcare, the lower cost on prescription drugs, etc.
Personally, Canada is a beautiful country and my extended family lives up there because they didn't like the US. There is a low crime rate and people are just friendly up there. It's also chilly. ;)
I think the canadien offical was dead-on when he said it's one thing to check out the website, it's another to actually apply.
