Jun. 29th, 2004 06:50 amI'm odd in that I like my commute. Probably because it's in the opposite direction of the main traffic flow. I've always loved driving (once I finally started i.e. at 18) and the office is in such a pretty area. But the added bonus is all the odd things I see and thoughts I have. Like yesterday:
Was driving along and saw a Hummer plastered in Domino's Pizza decals. My first thought was that if that was a delivery truck they were playing havoc with the environment. Course then I realized that anybody who can afford a HUmmer, probably isn't a pizza delivery person. Same logic for somebody owning a Hummer renting out their car as advertising space. The only thing I can come up with is somebody with too much money (possibly owning a couple Domino's frnachises?) and absolutely no taste - in vehicle or in how to use the vehicle.
Then, saw a car with a Dean sticker and started thinking (again) about how I've never understood political bumper stickers. They all have such a clear cut "good until" date.
Anyway, just a little insight into my mind as I drive to and from work. Thrilling, wasn't it?
