Saw it. Loved it. Was there any doubt?

I was pretty much grinning throught the whole first act (plus the whole biting of the cheek to prevent my self from singing along).

I was kind of put out though... maybe it's just me, but there are times when our society has gotten too casual. I just like to think of going to the theater as an event and that you should dress up at least a touch. Jeans are a stretch, except for maybe a matinee but this was an evening performance and there were even people there in shorts and flip-flops. I'm not asking for evening gowns or anything, but shorts?! Sorry, like I said, probably just me.

EditDiscussing this with the roommate and came up with another issue: Why are jeans and sneakers not ok at nightclubs, but acceptable at the theater? This just doesn't make sense to me.

I felt like that when I was walking by a funeral parlor yesterday. I'm not going to bash anyone's dress at a time of mourning, but I was surpised how casual everyone was...with bright blue shirts on some of the women even. It just seems if ever there was a time to be formal, last respects wold be it.
