Am I the only one who has their own built-in, personal sense of feng-shui?

Whenever I move to a new place, the biggest thing for me is always arranging the furniture. Certain "rules" always work for me like desk arranged so that the chair faces the door, but the placement of the other furniture is ususally up in the air. So I'll arrange a set-up I like and I'll live with it for months, but something will seem off so I'll rearrange.

This process will continue until I hit an arrangement that just...works. I don't know how to describe it, but it's like all the other arrangements are nice and functional and all that, but there's always this niggling sense of something being out of wack. Then I'll stumble across an arrangement and it's like the room snaps into focus and I'm this tiny, little, but importnat bit more comfortable in my own space.

Yes, my furniture is rearranged now. Yes my room is almost clean. All my homework you ask? I'm getting to it, I swear.

heh. I always walk into other people's homes and visually rearrange their roos in my head.... being the impulsive person that I am, I occasionally blurt out "oh you should put that table there and the couch here."
sometimes they let me go ahead and change everything. :)

Hee...maybe, but I doubt it since to get to the important furniture (ie bed, desk, dresser), there's usually little paths through all the junk all over the floor. I like the rearranging, not so much on the keeping it clean.
