taerowynGift certificates are bad, bad things...especially for bookstores. Cause you go in thinking I have X amount of money to spend and you wolk out having spent twice that much. But I do have new books thanks to my brother and sister-in-law...I have a sister-in-law!
Moving on... There's nothing better than finding out one of your favorite authors has a new book out that you didn't even know was going to be published soon. OK, I'm sure there are some things that are better, but not many.
I'm procrastinating, can you tell?
Got to see part of the eclipse last night. Pretty cool, and damned cold, hence only part of the eclipse. It's getting a tad, shall we say brisk in Boston as of late. And it's only November. Brrrrrrrr!
Really can't think of much else to ramble on about so I should probably give in and start working on my paper. Wish me luck.

Date: 2003-11-09 04:46 pm (UTC)i heart gift certificates so much. it's the only way i can go buy stuff that i really want without feeling like i should be spending that money on bills or whatever. very refreshing. but i tend to have the same problem... i go in to whatever store, and leave with well more than the intended purchaces.
