taerowynWent to Toys 'R Us last night to get stuff for a baby shower and a toy drive at my mom's office. I want to be ten again. They had some of the best toys there, especially Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings stuff.
I want the Harry Potter LEGO sets. I'm amazed at their attention to detail, expecially in the characters themselves. I mean Harry has the scar and Dumbledore's beard is great, Hagrid is noticeably larger than the other figures meaning they actually had to use a different "mold" just for him and c'mon, Gilderoy Lockhart has dimples. How exact is that? I'm amused. And besides, it's LEGOS!
The LotR characters are even more amazing. I can't believe how much they can make these toys look like the actors. In some cases it doesn't work, but if that's not Liv Tyler,Dominic Monaghan, and Ian McKellan, I'll...I don't know, eat my hat maybe? Whatever, you get the idea.
