I am amazed at the number of friends I have who send me "VIRUS ALERTS!" without checking to see if it's a hoax or not. Especially since each time they do I send them the website they can go to to find out if it's a hoax with the text that shows it is a hoax. And yet, the same people keep sending me virus alerts without checking it out first. It's a hell of a learning curve.

Hey there, I can't find your email address so I can send you the latest novel. Email me at micah_chaplin@yahoo.com and I'll send along a copy of the untitled Josh project.

You need to send them the "Beat you silly" Virus Alert, wherein if they send you a hoax virus, you "corrupt" all their "files" with a baseball bat.

that's why i say...

I actually had that as a bumperstick once. And it's still true today.
