I've discovered a new fascination at work. I've been packing up some shipping containers that we use to ship course materials around the world and I'm supposed to shrinkwrap all the pamphlets, books, etc. Shrinkwrapping is strangely enthralling. I think it gets to the same part of the brain that likes peeling skin after a sunburn. It's that same odd attraction. Guess if it wasn't official before, it is now... I'm weird.

saran wrap and a warehouse

You think that's an odd facination? When I was helping out at the warehouse we had to use these giant rolls of saran wrap to keep the things on the skids and keep the stacks from tipping over while they were being moved from one place to the next. Basically you tie one end to the skid (that wooden grate that large things are carried on - if you've ever been to Costco - it's what everything is pilled on top of) and then run around and around the skid with the saran wrap unrolling behind you sticking to the stuff on the skid. The 1st time isn't too bad (just make sure you wear gloves - massive rope burns) but after a few in a row - you kinda feel like you've been on one too many tea cup rides. :o)

Used to do that at a shipping job I had.
