Obligatory 9/11 post

taerowynAs I have mentioned, no TV for me this week. Of course, this morning there was the morning paper and the radio so no true escaping. One radio station is spending the day reading the name of everybody who died and ringing a bell for each name. I just couldn't listen.
I really can't think of anything more depressing. Oh wait, yes I can. I got an email offer today for a watch. The silver around the watch face says "In God We Trust / United We Stand" and the watch face has three clock faces in it one set for the time Tower 1 was hit, one for Tower 2 and one for the Pentagon and the date is permanently stopped at 9/11. Yeah, cause I want to be reminded every time I need to know what time it is.
How's that for dichotomy?
