Social stuff
Jul. 1st, 2001 01:41 amGuess I just had to get out of my rut and the social life picks up. Was out last night, tonight and have plans for tomorrow. Life has definitely picked up a bit. Guess it pays off to spend time with someone who is the ultimate social butterfly.
Went to see AI. About two hours into it the film got melted and they couldn't fix it. Grrrrrr! They gave us free passes, but still, I don't want to sit through those two hours for the last fifteen minutes or whatever that I missed. So, if any of you go out and see it, please be so kind as to tell me what happens after the voice-over starts at the amusement park. There, told you when to start without giving any plot away :-)

after voiceover
Date: 2002-01-23 04:30 am (UTC)Many years pass in the police copter. An ice age comes. The damn kid babbles on for a thousand years.
Teddy finally shoots him with a gun found under the seat.
Not.
Aliens appear. Aliens with spacecraft that can transform on their own and do all sorts of crazy shiznit. They defrost the kid and talk to him for a bit. He still wants to see Mommy.
Teddy remembers the hair samples he had. So the aliens clone mommy. Only, for some god blessed unknown reason, mommy can only stay around for 24 hours.
At 23 and 50 minutes, the kid climbs into bed with Mommy and experiences total nueral shutdown.
Teddy sits on the bed and waves his legs.
I swear this is true.
Weird, isn't it?
I've managed to convince myself the movie ended when he fell off the ledge of the building into the water and everything else was just a short in his mind.
