So our heat went out yesterday.

Well, to be honest, I don't know if the heat doesn't *work* (as in not produce heat), but when it attempts to, it makes this God awful grinding noise. I'm not going to be the one to test its efficacy in that state. Leaving that to the professionals

Plumber is supposedly coming by today, which works somewhat well with the office being closed due to snow. I was actually looking forward to going in on the snow day, cause I have a ton of work to do either way, and am REALLY productive in an empty office (since my commute is a five minute walk to an underground train, snow really has little effect on it).

Instead, I have to work from home using the web-based mail client, which I hate (pretty sure the feeling is mutual), huddled in my room under multiple layers, with my space heater blasting and downing tea.

Not all that conducive to productivity.

I was good though and dug out a spot in the driveway for the plumber. Course if he waits to long it will be snowed under again.

So he should get here now.

I'm freakin' shocked by all this snow. The entire city of Richmond seems to be shut down. It's nuts! The electricity in the hotel has been going on and off for a few hours now. Very crazy.
