taerowynNothing better than ending a vacation by planning not one, not two, but THREE other vacations.
About a month ago, my boss got after me for how much vacation time I had stored up. One of the things about working at a non-profit (at least a good one) is that, while they can't be overly generous in $$, they are usually quite good about time. She's really good at taking long 3 week adventures each summer, but I'm always stingy about what I use other than around the holidays. That's changing this year...
So, upcoming vacations:
1. Going to NC to finally visit![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
eeyorekdm in Raleigh. Not that I waited til the last minute or anything, since she's graduating soon, but at least I'm visiting. That's in February.
2. Sticking around the Boston area, but hosting my mom for a visit. She hasn't been out here in...gosh, two years or so now? Last time we did Boston and Newport, RI. I think this time we might focus on the North Shore. Think that'll be April/May.
3. My girlfriends from CO (two of whom I've known since 1st grade!!) are all turned/turning 30, so in celebration, we're renting a beach house in Puerto Rico for a week. Can't wait! We're doing this in July (yes, despite the heat).
After all that, think my boss can't get after me re: vacation use.
