Just imagine the kind of uproar an atheist bus ad would cause in the United States.

(Or should I have not pointed that out and thus proved myself anti-America...or whatever the latest twaddle is. My bad...)

I saw this billboard (http://www.ffrf.org/news/2008/seattlebillboard_pub.php) when i was in Seattle a few months ago.

Huh...hadn't heard about that. And a quick search shows there wasn't too much opposition (though in Phoenix, the 5 they did there apparently had to be sited so they weren't within 1,000 feet of a church or school).

Wonder if there would have been a difference with the bus ad, just cause it goes straight to the God issue, not religion....
