Insanely busy at work (not home til after 10 past two nights) cause we're redesigning our site. Supposedly launching today, but seeing as I thought the switch was being thrown over night and the old site is still up...not too sure about that.

Anyway, with all the busy, haven't been able to comment much on the DNC (haven't been able to watch much. So thankful for Twitter!)

Anyway, I really can't add anything to all the splendiferous words that have been said about last night. Even just reading/hearing snippets I feel that stirring in my heart, that seed of hope saying "Oh, yes...oh please." Can't imagine being there, seeing it live.

So, since I can't add much over there, let me look at the other side of the fence.

First, the McCain ad. The guy who posted this is not alone in calling it classy. I'm sorry, class? I'm not seeing "class," I'm seeing "desperate grab for audience share." It just comes across as...I don't know...patronizing? And he seems to be gritting his teeth the first part until he gets to the smug little smile of "tomorrow, we'll be back at it." Though why he's smiling...Even with a VP announcement, I don't think he's going to be stealing all that much thunder from the performance of last night.

In a funnier, lighter side of things, there are signs that McCain's education policy is going to follow the efficacy of No Child Left Behind (Expand the pic to see what I mean).
