taerowynWhen I don't post for a long time, I put it off even longer as I feel I must catch up on everything since the last post. Which is just silly.
I did go on vacation though. Whirlwhind tour of MI (well, just the Grosse Pointe area for a wedding), Toronto to visit![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
eastpole, his wife and new wee one, and an hour long stop in Niagara to see the falls as I'd never been. Fun all around (with pics). Course I was somewhat dismayed to return and find that John Barrowman was in two of those places at the same time as I was and I didn't get to see him *pout* Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Ah well...
Since I drove the whole trip (12.5 hours to MI, 4 to Toronto, 9 back to Boston...all done in 5 days) needless to say, I'm quite happy not getting in my car for awhile
I made a sweater for the wee one. Sinceeastpole is as big a nerd as I am, I went with nerd baby chic and modified a design to make this:
Why yes, those cables are double helixes (click through to see them better). Nerd Baby!!
Deep into roommate search. Have somebody who is interested...and I think it could work. She's a bit younger than what I was picturing (bout 5 years younger than me), but is in grad school for Ag, food, and environment and just all around seemed a chill person. Let's hope the first impression holds up.
