taerowynSo, half my Flist is fandom related and, for lots of reason, closely monitors and reports on the things that 6A/LJ like to pull now and then. A lot of the time, while shady, these things have the biggest repercussions in the fandom worlds so I feel no need to re-post about them when my fandom folks are already discussing them.
This ones a bit different, so for all my non-fandom friends, who haven't heard: 6A/LJ has started collecting more detailed information on how people use LJ. I don't know if you're like me--a cookie-clearing, cache-erasing, privacy junkie--but on the off chance you are, the link above includes the way you can opt-OUT of the system.
And yes, it's opt-OUT. See above re: "while shady" part of 6A/LJs actions on occasion.
And damnit, why isn't paranoid an option under moods?
