Travel fun and games

taerowynWell, I made it to CO...barely. After a week of hot, sunny, muggy days, the one day I need to fly out is, of course, full of thunderstorms. My flight was delayed by an hour and a half...I had a 45 minute layover in Atlanta. Things were not looking good.
However, as it happens, it was the LAST flight to Denver from Atlanta and there were about 15-20 people on my flight making the same connection so they held the flight. I was shocked. I know it was most likely for business reasons (better to slightly inconvenience one group of people than shell out for twenty-odd hotel rooms for another group).
So I made it...late, but I'm here.
