taerowynTo be honest...there are several (in some cases, serious) flaws with this apartment...a majority of which stem from the crazy landlady. And that's not even going into the recent events re: me working from home yesterday cause something from our bathroom was leaking into our downstairs' neighbors...
But still...I love the fact that I got off the train from work, and in 5 minutes or less could walk to pretty much anything I wanted: bar, restaurant, movie, live music, groceries, ice cream, bowling, bank, pharmacy, liquor store, craft store, clothing store, good friend's apartment, you name it. I have my window open and instead of the sound of undergrads yelling to each other as they set out for a night on the town I've got grandkids yelling bye to "Pappi" and birds in the trees. I actually have the cabinet and counter space to prepare some intricate meals without having to do it in weird awkward stages. I have a library!
Now if only I could get Roommate Classic to focus less on the cons and more on the pros, life would be great.
