Down and (more importantly) UP!

taerowynCraptastic day at work today...truly craptastic. The kind where you're already composing the LJ in your head. But you know what? Screw that. At the end of the day (that started early and ended late), I still love my job.
Went out after work with some friends...wine and gourmet pizza (whoever decided to mix potato, fontina, and rosemary on a pizza has my undying gratitude)...good conversation. Then went and bought the foundation for a kick-ass stenciled hoodie that I'm making for someone. So cool that I had to buy myself one too, cause I know I'm going to "need" one. Then...the drive home along Storrow. Boston skyline--love this city. Just generally fantastic mood all evening. So karmic low of the day paid off in karmic high of the evening.
Yes, I know that all that stuff is waiting for me at work tomorrow. And yes, I know New Roommate is moving out thus launching Classic Roommate and I on a dreaded roommate search. But you know what? When you get right down to it? My life rocks.
