So the verdict was no bone damage, just a badly sprained ankle and some damage to the meniscus in my knee, which pretty much amounts to a sprain as well. Air cast and a brace and ice and elevation. I was given crutches, but they always throw me even more out of whack then the injury and since I can actually put weight on the leg, I'm choosing to hobble around rather than crutches. Yes, I know it will take a bit longer to heal, but it will also mean much less frustration getting around.
