taerowynI just got new glasses. Fairly similar to the old. Dark, fairly thick. They're a little more squared off and the arms are thicker with this neat design etched into them. I'm quite pleased.
My one complaint is that, for some reason, the designer decided to make the part that rests on the side of my nose clear instead of dark (they're plastic frames so not those nose pad things, just the frame itself). This wouldn't be a problem except that the clear picks up reflections of things in front of me so any time my computer screen changes, I get this weird flash reflection in the bottom of my line of vision. Maybe it's not the nose piece, maybe the reflection is being picked up somewhere else, but still...it's weird. It's gonna take some getting used to.
