So I got the little shattered glass problem sorted. Hooray for insurance companies who pay the entire bill when you choose one of their "preferred" shops! But, when moving my car afterward...service light comes on. Well great.

I tired to get an appointment for today with the dealer, but no luck. They're booked. So I was driving it to a local repair place when the light went off. Whoot! I'm still going to get it into the dealer this week anyway, have to do a 3,000 mile maintenance plus my fan is doing funny things if I turn it on high, but I can schedule it for later this week AND, more importantly, do today's errands which mostly revolve around tonight's party.

PARTY!

Yay! Having a holiday/farewell party this evening. Tried to get the work crew to come, but so far 90% of them have given their regrets. But that actually works, cause now it will be the SciJo crowd giving a send-off to Boy Roommate. And, in honor of his move, I give you Yummy San Francisco! The pics are great, though the video is slightly disappointing.

Is it a high pitched squeeeeeeeling on your fan? Cause I noticed mine does that in the winter if I flip it on high right away. My deal said it was normal.

No...if it goes on high the noise gets really loud like I'm standing in front of an industrial-sized fan. Last time I was in, the dealer said it sounded like there might be something in there, but they'd have to take it apart to see and I hadn't mentioned it when I'd scheduled that appontment so they didn't have the time to do it.
