I admit, Super Bowl ads aren't generally known for their taste (wish Go Daddy would just....go....), but I really think they sunk to some amazing depths this year and this gem from Teleflora was really the lowest of the low. The tastelessness of Teleflora )

Apparently Southwest Airlines is partnering with Teleflora for their rewards program...which got the wheels in my head turning. If Teleflora (obviously) doesn't want to hear about unhappy potential customers, maybe their business partners do?

In a perfect moment of serendipity, Southwest's blog includes an entry about Super Bowl ads in the past. Perhaps we should let them know about ads of the present...

Here's my (yet to be published) comment:

Although there have been great commercials in the past, this year's ads seemed to sink to new lows, especially when it comes to the portrayal of women. And I'm sad to say that one of Southwest's new business partners, Teleflora, which you just added to your Rewards Program, was one of the worst offenders. Their ad was tasteless, classless, and offensive.

Cervantes said "Tell me what company you keep and I'll tell you what you are."

By doing business with Teleflora, you're not saying anything good about what Southwest is. Perhaps it's time to reconsider the company you are keeping...
