You gotta love a prof who, when you write in sick for class, writes back "Here's hoping you feel better soon. Take it easy, rest and drink plenty of tea, honey and a little Jack Daniels to make it slide down easier."

So, last week phanatic posted about a woman who rides her motorcycle around Chernobyl.

Today, somebody posted the link on an environmentl journalism listerv I'm on.

No big. Just an internet coincidence type thing. But the person who posted was my first ever journalism professor. I'm talking back when I was all set to be a marine biologist and wasn't even considering journalsim as a career, I had just taken it as an elective.

Very cool, I have to drop him a note and say hi (not to mention thanks).
