Feb. 5th, 2004 09:55 amI know I had my rant last night (and may I thank all those who said I was justified), but I forgot to mention the good news. I had the best interview last night. So informative, totally made me rethink where I was going with the article, great quotes, great analogies, gave me several different contacts I hadn't even known about. Just all in all a great interview.
Course the class deadline for th piece is tomorrow morning and I've only talked to two people, so unless a bunch of people call back this afternoon the piece is going to be crap. BUT, the main person I need to talk to was out of town this week so next week I'll call her PLUS I'll talk to some of the others and then, hopefully, I'll be able to freelance the damn thing. A paycheck would be nice. A paycheck based on something I wrote would be even nicer. We'll see.
