(no subject)

I was going to complain about the weather because I would like it if it only ever snowed on Christmas. What can I say, I'm a native Coloradoan who never learned to ski, so winter holds little appeal to me. But then, I hit the soup mode. I do love winter food. Plus, I like sweaters and jackets and coats. I like burrowing under tons of heavy blankets. I like hot apple cider and hot chocolate with marshmallows and warming my hands on a mug of such yummy goodness. So you know what, winter's not that bad...for awhile.

What really got me thinking was my drive back to work after visiting schwa242. I love it when the trees are still covered in leaves and the leaves are covered in snow. It's just so delightfully pretty. I have to remember to bring my camera tomorrow and shoot some pictures on my lunchbreak before it gets to warm/cold for the snow/leaves.
