Birthday Weekend

OK, as opposed to last entry about my birthday, I'm actually sober and functional. Good thing since I'm at work and all. So here's how my weekend was...

Friday was just a night at home. Watched "A Beautiful Mind" with my folks. It was the third time that week that my dad watched it. You'd think he liked it or something. Pretty darn good movie, well worth all the acclaim. I liked the star-gazing on their first date. "Do it again! Do it again!" Really liked the soundtrack.

Saturday morning, my birthday, I got the soundtrack, plus Monsters Inc, some nice jewelry and a desktop Cranium set. Gee, my 24th birthday and half my presents were kids movies/toys. Yep, that's me!!

That day my parents and I joined some family friends at a corn maze. We broke up into teams to see who could make it throught the two on the top right the fastest. My team got second. Then dinner with the family and then out with my friends. It was a good time, but definitely a lot.

Sunday was recuperation day. Just vegged out with books, movies, and my present from schwa242, Sims Unleashed. PLus I got to talk with eeyorekdm and two of my old housemates. It was definitely good to catch up.

So that was my birthday weekend, but the celebration still isn't over because, I don't remember if I've mentioned this or not [/sarcasm], but Tuesday is Cowboy Mouth!!! Woohoo!!

Ahem, anyway, a big thanks again to schwa242 and mezdeathhead for hauling me around and putting up with me. Although, admit it, it was worth it for the entertainment factor alone.
